d’Albora Marinas, Australia's largest premium marina and hospitality network, has recently expanded its portfolio by acquiring Tin Can Bay Marina in Southeast Queensland.
This strategic move enhances d’Albora's presence in the region and underscores its commitment to investing in premier coastal destinations.

Located in the heart of the Great Sandy Strait, Tin Can Bay Marina is a well-established boating hub offering 172 wet berths, a full-service boatyard, fuel facilities, and waterfront accommodation. The marina is renowned for its proximity to K’gari (Fraser Island), providing access to sheltered cruising grounds and serving a vibrant local boating community.

Customers of Tin Can Bay Marina can expect continuity in location, facilities, and on-site services. d’Albora Marinas has indicated that further details regarding branding and operational updates will be communicated directly to patrons in the coming months.

This acquisition is part of d’Albora's broader strategy to invest in and develop standout coastal destinations. The company has also been investing in its existing assets, including the Pacific Point Marina & Boatyard, located just north of the Gold Coast. Recent developments there have added 54 new marina berths and upgraded on-site facilities. The next phase of development is underway, with plans to deliver a new 14,000sqm commercial marine precinct, including work sheds, office space, additional wet berths, and a new dry storage facility. Upon completion, the site will accommodate more than 1,400 berthing customers.

d’Albora Marinas' expansion reflects a growing trend in the marine industry towards enhancing infrastructure and services to meet the evolving needs of the boating community. For boat owners and enthusiasts, these developments offer improved facilities and services, contributing to a more vibrant and accessible marine environment in Southeast Queensland.
